About the Image Watermark
A watermark makes it harder for others to reuse your images without credit, and it marks documents such as ID copies or screenshots with their purpose, for example “Copy for bank verification only”. Choose an image or drop it on the box, type your text, then adjust the font size (as a percentage of the image width, so it looks the same on small and large photos), the colour, the opacity and the angle. Place the text in one of nine positions or switch to tile mode to repeat it diagonally across the whole picture, which is much harder to crop or edit out. The preview updates as you type, and the result is saved at the original resolution as PNG, JPG or WebP. The image is drawn on a canvas in your browser and is never uploaded to any server.

Are my images uploaded?
No. The watermark is drawn on a canvas inside your browser and the new file is created on your device. Nothing is sent or stored.
Which position is hardest to remove?
Tile mode, with medium opacity and a slight angle. A single watermark in a corner can simply be cropped away, while a repeated diagonal pattern covers the whole image.
Which format should I download?
PNG keeps every pixel and transparency, JPG gives small files for photos, and WebP is usually the smallest for use on websites.
