About the Test Card Generator
Developers need realistic-looking numbers to test checkout forms, input masks and validation. This generator builds numbers that pass the Luhn checksum for a given BIN pattern (use x for random digits) with random expiry dates and CVV. They are not real cards, have no account or funds behind them and will be declined by any real payment network. For gateway sandboxes, use the official test cards published by your payment provider.
FAQ
Can these numbers be used to buy things?
No. They only satisfy the Luhn formula. Real payments require an account at an issuing bank, so these numbers are always declined.
What are they for?
Testing input validation, UI and database fields. For end-to-end payment tests use your gateway sandbox test cards.
