FAQ

How many digits do I need?

Six digits are enough for most cards. Many issuers now use 8-digit BINs, so entering 8 digits gives a more precise match.

Is it safe to enter my card?

Only enter the first digits. The BIN alone is not sensitive and cannot be used to make payments.

How accurate is the data?

The data comes from public card range records and is updated regularly, but issuers can reassign ranges. Your bank is the final authority.

Can I check many BINs at once?

Yes, use the Bulk BIN Checker to check up to 1,000 BINs and download the results as CSV.
