About the VPN & Proxy Detector

Fraudsters often hide their real location behind a VPN, a proxy or the Tor network so that their IP matches the country of a stolen card. This tool checks an IP against the network that owns it (VPN providers, cloud and hosting companies, privacy relays) and the live list of Tor exit nodes, and gives a risk score. When you check your own connection it also runs two browser tests: a WebRTC leak test, which can reveal the real public IP behind some VPNs (it contacts a public STUN server), and a timezone test, which compares your device clock with the IP location. A high score is a reason to review an order, not proof of fraud: many honest people use VPNs, offices and mobile carriers. Use it together with the BIN/IP country check and AVS/CVV results.

FAQ

How does VPN and proxy detection work?

Every IP belongs to a network (ASN). VPN services and proxies run on known VPN, cloud and data-centre networks, and Tor exits are published by the Tor Project. The tool matches the IP against these and adds request and browser signals.

Can it detect every VPN?

No. Residential proxies and some VPNs use home internet connections that look normal. Treat a low score as “no signal found”, not as a guarantee.

Should I block orders from VPN users?

Usually not automatically. Use the score to send risky orders to manual review, especially when the IP country differs from the card BIN country or the billing address.
