Despre Coduri de răspuns AVS și CVV
Când autorizezi o plată cu card neprezent, emitentul returnează un cod AVS care compară adresa de facturare și codul poștal, precum și un cod CVV pentru codul de securitate din 3 sau 4 cifre. Folosește potrivirile complete pentru aprobare, potrivirile parțiale pentru verificare și nepotrivirile ca semnale puternice de risc. Mulți emitenți din afara SUA nu acceptă AVS, așa că tratează neutru codurile „indisponibil”.

Ar trebui să refuz codul AVS N?
N înseamnă că nici adresa, nici codul poștal nu au corespuns. Mulți comercianți îl refuză sau îl verifică, mai ales la comenzile de valoare mare.
